Education
Computing Association of WA
In 2002 myinternet supported the Education Computing Association
of Western Australia at their Annual Conference by providing every
ECAWA member with a login name and password to a private ECAWA mydesktop
account.
The ECAWA mydesktop community members were able to setup and participate
in private online discussion forums using the mydesktop software,
extending their participation in conference sessions until many
weeks after the conference ended.
In addition, the associated mailing list tool we provide to ECAWA
through our SINA software enables the Executive Committee
to support each other, and all members, through a central email
address.
NSW Computer Education Group
In September 2002 myinternet provided NSWCEG members with a NSWCEG
mydesktop account at the Annual State Conference. By providing a
member only online space similar to a ready made intranet, members
were able to login and use the desktop tools to develop their own
community and extend the debates and forums initiated at the conference.
