myinternet Limited values its long relationship with Victorian education which goes back to 1993 when we began bringing Internet access to Victorian schools.

Schoolsnet Cluster continues this relationship by supporting Cluster Management Committees and Cluster Educators so they can concentrate on the outcomes of the Innovations and Excellence initiative - no additional local hardware, software or support is needed. Schoolsnet Cluster is a turn-key solution, hosted on a state-of-the-art, secure, managed Internet platform, supported by myinternet's help desk and Education Services Team.

Schoolsnet Cluster provides each Cluster a unique Internet domain, a website with external and password protected areas and additional Cluster member websites, secure Cluster email, Chat, Notice Board and Forum facilities, an integrated curriculum collaboration portal, point-and-click management tools and more.

Features of Schoolsnet Cluster
Schoolsnet Cluster provides access to all the features of myinternet’s SINA® Remote and mydesktop applications as well as myinternet’s hosting, management and support. Schoolsnet Cluster features include:

Domain name hosting for each Cluster.
Hosting of websites and home pages for the Cluster and each of its users.
Ability to restrict certain web pages to personal or Cluster member access only.
Fully managed, secure, email accounts for every Cluster user or group.
Filtering of all email text and file types (to reduce virus infection), plus the ability to restrict some users to ‘internal-only’ email.
Fully configurable mailing lists.
Simple point-and-click administrator tools - nominate one or more staff members to be the Cluster Administrator.
A password protected virtual intranet and collaboration portal.
Access to updated educational resources, online tips and national school collaboration projects.

Training and other Educational Services can be tailored to suit individual Program Coordinators, Cluster Educators or Individual School Cluster members.
