will the service be available?
The service is available now. Download the Application Kit to sign
up.
How
much will the service cost?
The cost of the service is calculated based on the size of your
school. Please refer to the pricing section for more information
or contact myinternet on 1300 657 009 or enquiries@myinternet.com.au
to obtain the pricing for your school.
Who
will my school contact regarding the service? Who will be invoicing
my school?
myinternet will be responsible for all elements of service delivery.
Invoices will be provided to individual schools quarterly for subscription
fees and traffic costs.
What
happens to all my existing on-site servers that are currently connected
to VicOne?
All on-site servers will be seamlessly transferred over to Schoolsnet
and will operate as they do currently.
What
services are we being offered?
Schoolsnet provides a range of products and services including flexible
user names; filtering; unlimited email addresses within the school;
tracking of usage; web server; back up services; disk space; school
sensitive use rules; groups; help desk; traffic; bulk upload with
reconciliation direct from admin system; manuals; centralised servers;
education team - teachers on staff; cost control tools; monitoring
of users' Internet activity; anti-virus; spam filtering and more.

How
will I manage student mailboxes and web hosting?
Through Schoolsnet, schools will have access to SINA, the
complete Internet management system.
Will
my school need to purchase any additional hardware to use this service?
Schoolsnet is a centralised service, meaning that we will take care
of all server and other hardware requirements, saving you time and
money. However, should you have on-site servers that you would like
to operate yourself, these are fully supported through Schoolsnet.
Will
we lose our current Domain Name?
No, your school's domain name is your own. With regard to the management
of your domain name, myinternet will arrange for re-delegation to
our servers
